Axis Fencing Club is seeking a passionate, dedicated and experienced Full-Time Sabre AssistantCoach to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with young or adultfencers of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors, and willplay a key role in the development and success of our young athletes.

Qualifications:
At least five years of fencing coaching or a combination of similar skills and backgrounds that demonstrate the competency and technical skills needed to compete at the local, regional, and national competitions in Canada and USA .

The candidate must demonstrate a high level of excellence, lead with courage, be passionate and positive in supporting our fencers in their journey to achieve their goals, be fluent in English and have outstanding communication and collaboration skills.

We offer:

Responsibilities:
- Conduct group classes for fencers of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Provide private lessons or small group lessons (4-6students) tailored to fencers' needs and goals.
- Provide combating practices with fencers.- Develop and implement training programs and lesson plans that promote technical, tactical, and physical development.
- Travel with athletes to local, regional, and national competitions in Canada and USA, providing coaching and support.
- Monitor and assess fencers' progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with fencers, parents, and club members.
- Contribute to the growth and success of the club by actively participating in club events, promotions, and community outreach activities.
- Ensure all safety protocols and guidelines are followed during practices and competitions.
